This is not the normal workflow. These low-level period controls are hidden by default and remain available for data repair, migration, and other advanced corrections only. Prefer initial BR plenum setup, council resignation, and internal group election packages for ordinary term administration.

Enter council resignation

Records a full BR mandate resignation (Amtsniederlegung) from the effective date, which is the first day of non-membership. This is not deletion, not a daily prevention, and not a function-only resignation; historical records before the effective date remain intact.

To correct an existing council resignation, resubmit the same person with the corrected effective date or notes. The service updates the existing resignation and recomputes dependent periods.
